No Socks Today

“No Socks Today!” is a humorous 59-word children’s board book about autonomy and a baby that hates socks, for 0-3 year olds. It was inspired by my tiny niece’s antics. To capture a baby’s energy and worldview, I took inspiration from my own daughter’s early drawings, illustrating in a naïve style with bold gestural marks. The drawings were originally made with posca, and these drawings formed the reference point for the digital work.
