Last month I took a little leap and added a small selection of my Edinburgh Dreamscapes fine art prints to the lovely Leith Makers shop – just steps away from my own studio. And Iâve just had my first sales report⌠two of my signed prints have found new homes!

(If you’re curious, my studio is literally behind the wall where my framed art print is sitting in the photo above!)
One of the prints I sold features a view of the Water of Leith. This spot is not too far from where I stay, although I had to climb over a fence and down a wall to get this exact view đ¤Ť.

The other is of Arthurâs Seat, the sleeping dragon in the heart of the city, viewed from the west as I walked around it one day with my daughter.

These two spots capture something special for me – a place that feels magic and wild, seems free of humanity, all hiding within plain sight.
These artworks are part of my Edinburgh Dreamscapes series, a five-piece collection highlighting the wild beauty in the city. Created digitally using traditional techniques, the series explores those special places within the city that seem untouched by human presence. Evoking a dreamlike, mystical atmosphere, this collection invites viewers into a fantastical vision of Edinburgh landscapes.
Online art sales have been my main focus for years, but there’s something really meaningful about seeing my Edinburgh art prints on a real wall, in a real shop, in my own community. I’m so happy to be part of Leith Makers, a warm and inspiring hub full of talented local creatives and ‘makers’. If you’re ever nearby, it’s well worth a visit.
If youâre not local, you can still explore and purchase my Edinburgh art prints in my online shop. But if you are? Maybe youâll spot a familiar hill or hidden river next time you visit Leith Makers.
Thank you to everyone who supports local art – it really does mean the world.
