Description
A Giclée fine art print of Castlerigg Stone Circle
Castlerigg Stone Circle, near Keswick, in the Lake District is one of the oldest stone circles in the United Kingdom. It is situated in a place with incredible panoramic views of the Thirlmere Valley and the mountains of Helvellyn and High Seat which surround it. It is around 5,000 years old.
The first “Dreamscape” I painted, this artwork was created digitally using traditional techniques. The series explores those special places that seem untouched by a modern human presence. Evoking a dreamlike, mystical atmosphere, this collection invites viewers into a fantastical vision of our landscape.
