Hello friends – Happy August! I just wanted to pop in with a reminder about tomorrow’s free online workshop on making tiny books: “Create Your Own Tiny Book: Simple No-Sew Bookbinding for Beginners” as part of this year’s Summer Creative Retreat hosted by The Pigeon Letters.
🗓 Saturday 2nd August 2025
🕑 3 – 4pm BST (British Summer Time)
💻 Live and online – and free!
▶️ Replay: Can’t make it live? Replays are available for all classes in the Retreat until 6 August.
This 60-minute class is perfect for beginners and playful creatives of all ages. Together, we’ll make a miniature accordion-fold book – a delightfully dinky handmade book complete with front and back covers and a sweet little bellyband to hold it all together. No sewing, no fuss – just fun, mindful making.

We’ve had such a busy few weeks – our holiday club at home was a huge success (and surprisingly tiring!). I’ll share more about what we did next week if you’re curious about trying something similar with your family.
We also had a wonderful little trip around northern England, including a ride on the tiniest steam train at Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway.

From tiny trains to tiny books, it’s been a delightful summer so far. Maybe I’ll see you at the workshop tomorrow – and if not, catch the replay any time during the retreat.
See you soon!
