Hello friends! I’m delighted to share that I’ll be teaching “Create Your Own Tiny Book: Simple No-Sew Bookbinding for Beginners” as part of this year’s Summer Creative Retreat hosted by The Pigeon Letters – and the best part? It’s completely free to join!

This 60-minute class is perfect for beginners and playful creatives of all ages. Together, we’ll make a miniature accordion-fold book – a delightfully dinky handmade book complete with front and back covers and a sweet little bellyband to hold it all together. No sewing, no fuss – just fun, mindful making.

It’s my third year in a row teaching at this joyful online retreat, and I’m really honoured to be returning. The Summer Creative Retreat brings together a global community of artists, crafters, and curious creatives for a weekend of hands-on workshops, all designed to help you reconnect with your creativity. Whether you’re brand new to bookbinding or just love making mini things, this class is a gentle and welcoming place to start.

You’ll come away with a beautiful mini sketchbook (or journal or zine – it’s up to you!) and a simple structure you can repeat again and again with your own creative twist.
